Here I am again, way behind on blogging. Story of this guys life!
I’m so far behind on my blogging that the couple in this e-session I’m about to post, are already married! Ha, sad I know. What can I say! It’s been an amazing summer of shooting and as I wade through the sets and sets of sessions it’s clear I had a pretty rockin summer shooting some amazing people. I’m stoked to finally get some more up on the blog – so we start with this AWESOME engagement shoot at the Chan Theatre. Tracy and Tony are two of the most amazing people on this planet. Old friends who I knew from the second I met, were soulmates. I’ve never met two more genuinely sweet, caring and absolutely HILARIOUS people. Surround yourself with these 2 souls and you’ll immediately find yourself bending over in pain from laughter, amusement and sheer LOVE. You cant help but fall in love with their personalities. They are superstars when it comes making people feel awesome and just….happy. Happy people = good times = love everywhere.![]()
We did this shoot just before the wedding in August and T&T selected the theatre for the shoot. Ummm, shooting a couple in love at a beautifully designed vancouver theatre? Can we say wedding photographer’s dream? I was over the top when they suggested the venue for the shoot! I knew it would be fab, but what I didn’t know was HOW fab. You see, for reasons I need not explain, I hadn’t seen the inside the females washroom at the Chan Theatre. Nope. Hadn’t even heard about it’s greatness. But they quickly filled me in as soon as we got there and without hesitation, we started the shoot in there. The first bunch of shots are all inside the bathroom. It’s so beautiful! You really have to see it in person! Of course, this led to some hilarious shots inside a toilet stall…..definitely a first for me, but so FUN. Tony is a drummer for The Awkward Stage, The Strange Magic, and SK Robot so he brought along his drumsticks for a few fun shots. We had a rad time and I am so freakin’ happy for these two!
Enjoy!
