When I first got the call from Melanie about their Hatley Castle wedding, I have to admit my heart skipped a beat when she told me the venue. It’s an absolutely goooooorgeous castle located in Victoria BC and is world famous for it’s seaside location and incredible architecture. The other super rad part about this wedding was that Melanie and Stephen came all the way from Texas! They had heard so much about how beautiful it is up here so they decided, rather randomly, to choose Vancouver Island as their destination location. Great choice!! They brought 40 of their closest friends and family up with them and it was truly an awesome pleasure to spend the day with them all. Melanie and Stephen both work for NASA and brought me a goodie bag full of all kinds of NASA goodies – so awesome!! Melanie even had a special NASA cake made for the wedding, in addition to their gorgeous 24k gold piped wedding cake made by Cakes Galore of Victoria. A beautiful couple, a beautiful wedding. Thanks again for being so rad and allowing me be a part of your day guys!!
