Today has been beyond hectic so it’s time to take a breather and post a little bloggity blog goodness.
The day started off rough with one of my laptops taking a little trip to hard drive heaven on me. Poop. Hoping those experts at the IT shop can get’r fixed up for me! If not, everythings backed up so at least I dont have to be concerned about that. To burn off some steam I went for a 6.5km run which was really great. I love running and it always makes me feel so great after. I love that feeling. Go endorphins!!!! Alright so after that I couldn’t use that laptop so decided to take my OTHER laptop (the Mac, NEVER a problem) out to the coffee shop with me to get some work done off site. Always productive when I work out of a cafe somewhere and well, I just love hangin’ out in them!
Anyways, so much for getting work done.![]()
I never made it to the coffee shop to get work done as I stopped in at Home Sense and Canadian Tire to look at Rugs.
We are trying to find a new one for the living room. Failed on that search, so then I went across the street to the new Whole Foods on Cambie and wandered the store in amazement. I freaking LOVE LOVE LOVE that store. It is the ultimate grocery shopping experience, fer realz. Like imagine everything you would ever want in a grocery store…. fresh delis with rows and rows of literally EVERY single kind of salad, meat, fish and cheese you could imagine. The whole outer lining of the store is made up of little “centers” or “delis”…..one for everything!! All with gorgeously displayed food that makes you want to buy everything.
All hand made stuff with really unique flavors and it’s all organic too boot. I picked up 2 boneless turkey breasts at the amazing meat counter and they came to $28. Umm, yikes!
Ok so it’s a bit pricey, but they gotta pay for all those flashy displays somehow. They had the most AMAZING olive bar I’ve ever seen too. ![]()

John, you take wonderful photography. I wish that I had the skills that you have. I googled my name and your name and found your website. I will save your website as a favorite. I am just curious of your geneology curious to know if we might be related. I have family all over the states. My Great Aunt Pauline passed last week in Garden Grove, CA. Uncle Lucky is doing his best to cope. Anyways, I have family in CA, OH, WI, CO, NM, IN, IL, TN, WA, and other states as well. I am a public affairs officer in the Army. I have a website as well, but not as nice as yours. I would like people to be able to leave comments too. Well, I hope I didnt bore you. Love your photography. Very impressive.
