Gettin’ my cook on

Well my shoot today was re-scheduled due to the rain so I started my prep work for tomorrows spring kick off bbq a little early.

8 hours later and I am B-E-A-T.

Since Kris and I are on a no sodium/sugar kick right now, we had to steer clear of many of the processed goodies we usually pick up for parties. This time, it’s all made by us! and ALL healthy.:)

Here’s all the things we managed to whip up today:

  • Pasta crab salad (with real crab)
  • Italian meatballs
  • Cucumber/Celery/Walnut Yogurt Soup (served chilled)
  • Hummous
  • Spinach Dip
  • Devilled Eggs
  • Oatmeal Cookies

I’m super stoked for tomorrow’s bbq. It’s always so fun to have our friends over and ESPECIALLY fun when we can use the patio! yaaay for patio season! I’m so ready for cherry blossoms, tulips, freshly cut grass, barefeet walks on the beach, that beautiful brisk spring morning air…..ahhhh, bring it on!

Oh patio, I can’t wait to start using you again!
