Many of you have already seen it, but I know a lot of readers haven’t so I’m blogging it anyways! At this moment, it’s late, I’m kind of tired, and I am a bit lost for words at how truly amazing this wedding was to me and how blessed I feel to have been a part of it. Tracy and Tony are dear friends who’ve we’ve known since we moved to Vancouver, who have ALWAYS been nothing short of amazing to us. I adore these two people and feel honoured to have them in my life. This wedding was all about the little details. From Tracy’s custom handmade dress, to the handmade purse, accessories and favors….all of it – hand made! and with incredible attention to detail. Held at the beautiful Vancouver Rowing Club on a hot summer day, we couldn’t have spent the day surrounded by more love. This slideshow came together so well as the music was just…..perfect. Tracy & Tony chose the 2 tracks…. Anna Ternheim-The Secret and The Trajically Hip-Bobcaygeon……just so PERFECT. Tracy & Tony, you are amazing people and I wish you all the best in life, love and happiness! xo

Clients have been asking for them like crazy and I love putting them together – it’s such a beautiful way to present photos. Theres many different slideshow variants out there and everyone has their opinions, but lately it’s all about Animoto in my business. These are certainly my most popular slideshows – clients and family members LOVE them and so do I. I admit, every session is different and some sessions just dont justify a flashy slideshow like Animoto, but for more important occasions and photos that really need to be shown off, Animoto is my go to these days.

That said,  I’m going through some of my summer weddings to see what hasn’t gone up on the blog yet and will be sharing some wedding slideshows over the next little while.

I’ll start with Jillian and Felipe’s slideshow. These 2 were so amazing to work with – we had a blast the day of the wedding! It was scorchingly hot but we all managed to get through it and we got some fantastic shots!

I’m so stoked to see these two finally tie the knot! Our closely knit circle of friends have been anticipating this wedding for some time now, but the wait will be well worth it as we all know these tow are meant to grow old together. I can’t think of how 2 people could be better suited. When you see how well two people click sometimes, you just know. Not only do James and Suzanne have perfecting matched personalities, but they are both full of so much awesomeness that any person would be honored to call them friends.  I am so excited for the wedding this summer! 
We took a bold and dramatic approach with the engagement photos, shooting from the rooftop of their apartment while Suzanne and James dressed in head to toe black. SMOOOKIN’ shots for a SMOOOKIN’ couple!
