Donna & Jason: Orpheum Theatre Enagement Session

Well, I’m finally settling back into the swing of things here at the studio and I’m glad to say I’ll finally be posting some more stuff to the blog soon. July was a whirlwind adventure to say the least, travelling to New York for a wedding and then to Europe for a personal vacation, it was all quite amazing and overwhelming. I tried to keep up with work while away, but that was pretty difficult, needless to say! I have to thank everyone who has been so patient with me-I appreciate it immensely!!

Anyways…back to the more important part of this post, Donna & Jason! Ooooh Donna, and Jason, what a fabulous couple. I don’t know if it was Donna’s drop dead gorgeous smile or her killer taste in fashion (Check out the Louboutin’s), that first hooked me on her, but couple that with her beautiful personality and she is a total gem. Jason, well, he’s is this incredibly charming and handsome man who literally would do anything for Donna (like get us access to the Orpheum for this shoot!). He was so polite and just plain out awesome to work with. I just shot their wedding the other day so will be posting those photos soon, but for now, here’s the engagement session!!

Tita & Brian: Steveston Engagement Session

I’ve been so excited to post this session. I’ve shot a LOT of engagement sessions over the last month and this one was full of all sorts of awesome! I’ve known Tita for awhile now as I shot her sister Marbels wedding last year! Marbel is the owner of Little White Dress Boutique and we’ve since colaborated on many projects and are actually travelling to Europe together this summer! Tita is a make up artist and works for Sephora in Coquitlam, but also works for the dress boutique with Marbel, providing make up services for clients there. She is truly an amazing talent and does absolutely gorgeous work so if you ever need a wicked artist, call her! Tita had these KILLER red pumps that she wore the shoot and boy oh boy, did these two rock it. We shot at this great old produce farm out in Steveston, as well as an old abandoned school lot not far away from the farm. It was a great afternoon and I couldnt have pulled it off without their awesome attitudes and the full on sexy they brought to the shoot! Thank you guys for being so damn rad. And a big thanks to my trusty assistant Jo for helping with this shoot!

Amber & Robin: Granville Island E-Session Teaser

Here’s a little teaser from my shoot this weekend with Amber & Robin! We spent about 5 hours together on Saturday and had a blast wondering around the island. Amber is another old friend from Calgary who I’ve known for years and I’m so happy our pathes have crossed again! I’m shooting her and Robins wedding next month at the beautiful Boldt Castle in New York and I can’t wait for the big day! More to come!

Allison & Patrick: English Bay Engagement Session Teaser

This past weekend was a blast! I shot 4 days straight and 2 of my shoots were with old chums from Calgary. An old friend from high school got in touch about shooting some engagement photos while in town and I jumped at the opportunity! Allie was one of the few people in high school that shared my sarcasm and cynics and I have fond memories of laughing and causing mahem together in school. Flash forward 13 years (wowza that it is frightening!) and it was a pleasure when she asked me to photograph her and Patrick! These guys seriously trooped it up for me as it started raining pretty much as soon as we hooked up! In true Vancouver form, we wandered the seawall and beach, in the dewy wet rain, snapping up super rad photos all along the way. Thanks for rocking it out and keeping up such awesome attitudes in the drizzle guys – I had a blast!! Cant wait to post more of these!

Meena & Amrik – Granville Vancouver Engagement Session

Ok so this might sound preposterous, but, I have to admit, Meena and Amrik are already married! I’m working on their wedding photos right now! I really should have posted this e-session in the blog weeks ago, but never got around to it. Sooooo, here she is now! I can’t even tell you how what incredible troopers Meena and Amrik were on this shoot. The weather forecast was pretty dark, but we decided to forge ahead anyways and take our chances. Meena and Amrik showed up looking fabulously flirty and ready for some saucy photos…..and they rocked it! We managed to avoid the rain for the first half of the session but we got seriously dumped on during the second half. You’d NEVER know it with the attitudes these guys had….they didn’t care at all and we carried on rocking out an awesome shoot in the pouring rain! By the end, we were all soaked, but it was so fun and soooo worth it! I had a blast at the wedding last week and can’t wait to share those photos soon. Monica & Mike: Coal Harbor Vancouver Engagement Session

Monica & Mike….what a way to kick off engagement season with a super sweet couple like this! These two love birds are getting married this September at the Stanley Park Pavillion and a few weeks back we got together for their engagement session down in Coal Harbor. We lucked out and had a fabulous day for weather, complete with sparkling blue skies and just a touch of cottonny clouds – we had a blast shooting along the gorgeous harbor side!

Tita & Brian: Roadside Lovers E-Session

The last few weeks have been full of some mad shooting and sadly, that means the blog has been a bit neglected. I’ve been shooting tons of e-sessions and 2 recent weddings, with another coming up this weekend. Yep, the season is in full effect. Alas, previews are a coming and I’ll be working on some posts soon. For now, here’s another little teaser of what’s in the works! This is from Tita & Brians engagement shoot, which we did out a roadside farm out in Steveston. It was maaaad sexy and super fun. These two rocked it! We threw a bit of a “travelling lovers” theme to it and these two blew me away. Cant wait to post more!

Vancouver Engagement Shoot Teaser: Meena & Amrik

Spring is here! And yesterday I kicked off e-session season with Meena and Amrik in downtown Vancouver. These two were TROOPERS. Not only did they have to deal with some “authority” figures on their way to the shoot, they showed up with huge smiles and kept up their awesome attitudes through rain and even hail! Although spring has sprung, we had an overcast day and looming rain, but, that didn’t stop us! Meena and Amrik braved the elements to get some awesome photos. I had a blast with these two and we managed to get some great shots, despite mother natures wrath! Can’t wait for the wedding in May guys!
