I’ve been looking at a lot of photography lately. A LOT. I utilize loads of different resources out there to constantly keep myself inspired and challenged and searching for fresh ways to bring my work alive. I’ve seen some many great photos from so many genres, but I’m always drawn back to same type of photos lately. Photos that make me feel something the second I see them. Photos that make me see into the subject in a way that I feel only I can see….me, at that very moment I look at the picture……when you look at a photo and it feels like you are a part of photo with them, you know it’s good. Every once in awhile I come across someones work that really blows me away like that….Work that reminds me of what it is about photography that I really love.
I happened to wander on the PIF site tonight just before I was planning to hit the sack. I immediately stummbled upon a thread about Simplicity Photography and followed the link to check it out. All I can say about this photographer from Salt Lake City is WOW. Angie seems to have quite a knack for color, which certainly resonates with me as you all know how much I LOVE color in my photos. So, go check out her site….look at her amazing images, feel the connection she makes with clients. Amazing photos.
