If you haven't figured it out, I'm John Heil, a wedding and portrait photographer based in gorgeous Vancouver BC! I love making people feel beautiful and making the everyday seem extraordinary through photographs. This is where I'll post most of my new shoots, teasers, random tid bits about what's going….all that bloggity stuff! I've been crazy busy over the summer of 2010 so if blog posts are sparse, please be patient! I'm trying!! :)

I'm currently booking holiday 2010 shoots with a FEW remaining spots in November. 2011 wedding season is about 90% booked, so if you've been thinking about getting in touch about your photography requirements, do so quickly! 2012 bookings are under way so feel free to get in touch for an updated price list.

Hmm, what else do we put here?? Oh, something about travel perhaps! I'm lucky to be travelling to a number of great locations in 2010 and if you'll be in any of them while I'm there, let me know! I can't think of anything better than taking some ones photograph and making them feel beautiful and unique when they view it. Doesn't everyone deserve to feel that way? It's pretty incredible how much a photo can make a person feel, so I hope that seeing some of my photos here, will do just that for you. Make you FEEL something. :) Hope to connect with you soon!

Costa & Miranda – Coal Harbour Engagement Session

Well after a long hiatus from the blog we are back! I haven’t been very good at sharing all the amazing shoots this year but I’m going to try and get some posts going. Starting off with the awesome engagement session for Costa & Miranda. These guys brought some serious sexy to this shoot and I had a blast working with them. Super stoked for the wedding next year!

I don’t normally post random videos on the blog, but this one really touched me so I have to share! So beautiful.
